My spouse is a creep and I no longer want to be with him. But we have two children under the age of ten, and now we are in the holiday season. Please give me some advice as I think I am going CRAZY here.

Dear Susan,
Sometimes going crazy is a message you need to pay attention to! Put together a plan. Save some money. Figure out what your living expenses are going to be for when he leaves or you leave. Decide on when to tell him, and prepare for it. Collect all the financial information you can. Remove all personal items that he might take or destroy. See an attorney on your own to learn what your rights are. Be careful not to slam your husband over the head with the news when you do tell him. Be kind and later you will be so glad you were. Let me know how you are doing in the spring.
